France are through to the FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-finals after defeating Morocco 2-0 in their quarter-final clash at Boston Stadium.
The match was a highly anticipated rematch of the 2022 World Cup semi-final, with Les Bleus once again getting the better of the Atlas Lions.
After a tense first half, France found their rhythm after the break, with Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé scoring the goals that sealed the win.
Mbappé makes up for missed penalty
Morocco goalkeeper Yassine Bounou kept his side in the match during the first half when he saved a penalty from Mbappé.
But the France captain responded in the second half.
Mbappé opened the scoring in the 60th minute with a curling finish into the far corner, giving France the breakthrough after a tightly contested opening period.
He then turned provider in the 66th minute, sliding a precise pass to Dembélé, who calmly finished to make it 2-0.

The result sends France into their third consecutive World Cup semi-final.
Morocco, who had again impressed on the global stage, struggled to turn possession into clear chances, managing only one shot on target despite having 52% of the ball.
France, meanwhile, were more clinical, producing 22 shots, with nine on target.
