South African superstar Tyla is coming home.

The two-time GRAMMY Award-winning singer and songwriter has announced the South African leg of her A*POP World Tour, bringing two headline shows to Cape Town and Johannesburg in January 2027.

Presented locally by Showtime Management and Anything Goes, the performances follow the release of her highly anticipated second studio album, A*POP, which dropped on 24 July via FAX and Epic Records.

Tyla returns to Cape Town and Johannesburg

The South African leg of the tour begins at Green Point Track in Cape Town on Monday, 4 January 2027, before heading to the Expo Centre at Nasrec in Johannesburg on Saturday, 9 January 2027.

Doors open at 18:00, with the concerts starting at 19:00.

The homecoming performances conclude a 34-date global tour that begins in Paris on 12 October 2026 before travelling through Europe, the UK, North America and selected African cities, including Lagos.

The tour follows Tyla’s successful 2025 We Wanna Party Tour across Asia, which featured sold-out performances in Japan and the UAE, as well as a sold-out South African tour.

A*POP ushers in a new era

The APOP World Tour supports Tyla’s second studio album, APOP, a 14-track release featuring the singles CHANEL, IS IT, SHE DID IT AGAIN and IS IT LOVE.

In recent weeks, Tyla has promoted the album with a string of high-profile performances, including a headline appearance on The Today Show’s Citi Summerstage, where she performed WATER, IS IT LOVE, THAT GIRL and CHANEL.

She also made history by becoming the first international artist to headline the halftime show at the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, performing CHANEL, WATER and SHE DID IT AGAIN.
