South Africa beaches celebrated by Corona

617

As Corona celebrates 100 years under the sun, four of South Africa’s most iconic beaches take centre stage in a striking new limited-edition bottle collection.

The release forms part of a global tribute to beach culture, legacy and natural beauty.

Celebrating a century of beachside living

To mark 100 years of living by the sun, Corona has unveiled a collectable bottle series inspired by four South African destinations featured in the prestigious Corona Beach 100.

This curated global guide highlights the world’s most iconic beaches, places where simplicity is a luxury and life moves to the rhythm of the ocean. The list was launched earlier this year on the sands of Copacabana in Brazil.

South Africa’s inclusion recognises not only its raw coastal beauty, but also the country’s deep-rooted lifestyle connection to the ocean. It is a celebration of place, pride and the enduring pull of beach culture.

Four beaches, four coastal stories

Each limited-edition bottle honours a distinct stretch of South African coastline.

From the calm, crystal-clear waters of Kraalbaai in the West Coast National Park, to the penguin-filled coves of Boulders Beach. From the wild, forest-fringed shores of Nature’s Valley to the sun-soaked glamour of Camps Bay beneath the Twelve Apostles.

Every destination reflects a different expression of South Africa’s coastal identity.

Design inspired by place

The bottles have been innovatively designed to reflect the spirit of each beach. In a bold, creative twist, the word “Extra” in the Corona logo has been replaced with the name of each featured destination.

The result is a series of bespoke collector’s items that capture the character, atmosphere and natural beauty of each location.

More than a label change, the design transforms every bottle into a tribute to place, inviting consumers to connect with the coast tangibly.

A tribute to beach culture

More than a visual extension of the Corona Beach 100 campaign in South Africa, the limited-edition bottles serve as a reminder that beachside living is at the heart of the brand’s identity.

They celebrate moments shaped by sun, sea and simplicity, and reinforce a message that resonates strongly with South Africans. Our beachside is, indeed, our best side.
