Showmax and Mzansi Magic will air the first-ever reunion of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa, marking a global first for the franchise.
The two-part reunion premieres on Showmax on 20 and 27 February 2026, followed by Mzansi Magic broadcasts on 21 and 28 February 2026. Viewers across the continent are preparing for what is set to be a major moment in African reality television.
Jojo Opens Up Ahead of the Reunion
We caught up with Jojo Robinson, a veteran of The Real Housewives of Durban since Season 2 and the most experienced cast member in this edition, to discuss the season, social media backlash and what she expects from the reunion.

On Her Season Experience
Jojo describes filming as positive and enjoyable.
“While we were filming, it was an incredible experience, and I genuinely had fun with the ladies,” she says. “Once the show aired and social media weighed in, it became a bit challenging because of the backlash I received. That part was tough, but overall, the experience itself was positive.”
Looking Back at the Season
Asked whether she would change anything, Jojo stands firm.
“No, there is nothing I would have done differently. I just wish certain moments had been shown in full so viewers could see the complete picture and better understand the dynamics at play.”
She hopes the reunion will provide more context and clarity on the key moments that sparked debate online.
On Being Labelled “Spineless”
Social media commentary has been intense, with some viewers calling her spineless. Jojo rejects that narrative.
“I am simply being myself. I am not a super dramatic person, and I have learnt to avoid drama if I can. It takes a lot to push me to that point. Just because I choose to control myself and handle situations calmly now, it does not mean I am weak. It just means I know who I am.”

Her Reunion Strategy
Jojo plans to approach the reunion with composure.
“I plan to address everything calmly. I believe the truth sets everyone free. I am in a very level-headed space right now, and I am hopeful that we can have honest conversations without things getting out of hand.”
On Christall’s Comments
Christall previously said Jojo was one of her biggest disappointments this season. Jojo responded candidly.
“Unfortunately, Christall was also my biggest disappointment. I was a huge fan of hers, but seeing how she conducts herself when the cameras are not rolling and how she treats everyone around her, my eyes were completely opened.”
Jojo says she now views certain behaviour as toxic and manipulative, adding that she is not comfortable with blind loyalty.
“I am open to listening, hearing my friends out, and even calling them out when necessary. What I will not do is involve myself in issues that have nothing to do with me, because that often makes things worse.”
On Moving Forward
Jojo says she is content with the friendships she has built and is focused on her family life.
“My life is full. I have my Boo Bear, my child, and a lot to be grateful for. I am not interested in inviting negativity into my space.”
On Being Called a “Real Housewife”
Many viewers have praised Jojo for representing stability and family life.
“They are not wrong, but honestly, I am just grateful for the life I have. I enjoy sharing it with viewers and showing that marriages can be healthy, loving and free of constant drama.”
