African Fashion International (AFI) is once again opening the runway to African designers, both established and emerging, to dazzle us with their creativity and flair. Known for hosting high-energy shows in Johannesburg and Cape Town, AFI is now calling for entries for its 2025 programme. So, if you’re a budding designer with big dreams, it’s time to dust off that portfolio and get it ready!

AFI, proudly known as the home of African luxury, has officially opened applications for its prestigious Fastrack Prize. Entries are open until May 2025, giving aspiring designers a golden opportunity to showcase their talents, rub shoulders with industry veterans, and carve out their own space in the fashion world.

While AFI champions luxury fashion, there’s a noticeable shift happening – one that’s embracing inclusivity and blending exclusivity with accessible style. It’s not just about high-end anymore; it’s about bold ideas, personal flair, and the kind of originality that turns heads.

And yes, all eyes will definitely be on style and creativity, but don’t forget sustainability. It’s more important than ever and will absolutely be on the judges’ radar.
