1.1k

Mattel has revealed the first look at its highly anticipated ‘Golden’ line of KPop Demon Hunters™ toys and collectables at the Spielwarenmesse Toy Fair in Nuremberg on 28 January 2026. The announcement comes as Netflix’s most popular film continues to dominate global culture, following major award wins and the biggest soundtrack success of 2025.

Launching throughout 2026, the new range brings the vibrant world of KPop Demon Hunters to life through premium toys and collectables designed for fans of all ages.

A global fandom moves into play

Inspired by the film’s explosive success, the Mattel KPop Demon Hunters collection spans multiple categories, including dolls, action figures, games and collectables. Fans can expect releases across some of Mattel’s most recognisable brands, including Polly Pocket, UNO and Little People Collector.

The line aims to deepen fan engagement by allowing audiences to interact with the characters, music and stories they love through imaginative play.

“KPop Demon Hunters is a true global phenomenon, driven by a fast-growing and deeply engaged fan base,” says Nick Karamanos, Senior Vice President of Action Figures and Entertainment Partnerships at Mattel. “Our close partnership with Netflix allowed us to respond quickly and deliver products on a timeline that meets fan demand. With multiple Mattel brands involved, fans now have more ways to celebrate the characters, songs and stories they connect with.”

Designed around bold characters and pop culture energy

The toy line reflects the film’s distinctive visual identity, blending music, fashion and pop culture influences. Characters such as Rumi, Mira and Zoey sit at the heart of the collection, with designs shaped by their unique personalities and on-screen style.

From detailed fashion dolls and action figures inspired by iconic scenes, to compact, collectable figures designed for display and play, the range covers multiple formats and price points. The focus is clear: offer accessible products while staying true to the film’s bold aesthetic.

What fans can expect in 2026

Mattel confirmed that this first reveal is only the beginning. Additional KPop Demon Hunters products will be announced throughout 2026, expanding the collection as fan demand continues to grow.
