Toast to the Season: Capitec Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival 2025 Returns in Style

1.9k

The Capitec Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival — a highlight on South Africa’s wine and lifestyle calendar — is back at the historic Huguenot Monument on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November 2025. This year’s theme, “Champagne White With A Pop Of Blue And A Note Of Pinot Noir Red”, sets the tone for a weekend of sparkling elegance.

Presented in partnership with headline sponsor Capitec, the 2025 edition promises refined indulgence, gourmet flair, and the finest sparkling wines, all enjoyed against the backdrop of the Franschhoek Wine Valley.

What to Expect

Guests will embark on a tasting journey featuring South Africa’s leading Cap Classique producers alongside exclusive imported Champagnes. Wines will be available for tasting and purchase, while a curated selection of gourmet food vendors offers cuisine designed to pair perfectly with bubbly.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, live music will play throughout the weekend, while the ever-popular Best Dressed Competition returns with premium prizes for those embracing the theme.

A Celebration of Elegance

“We are thrilled to be once again part of the Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival — a celebration of elegance, success, and shared moments,” said Asha Patel, Head of Brand and Communications at Capitec.
“This partnership reflects our passion for empowering growth, supporting local businesses, and celebrating the vibrant lifestyle that defines South Africa.”
