The Cape Wine Auction Trust has confirmed ticket sales for The Celebration, a new addition to The Cape Wine Auction 2026. The event takes place on Saturday, 7 February 2026, at Nederburg Wine Estate.

Positioned as a “rockstar party for a good cause”, The Celebration opens one of South Africa’s most prestigious wine charity events to a wider audience. Guests enjoy live music, curated wines, gourmet food, and interactive experiences, all in support of education initiatives across the Cape Winelands.

A New Partnership at the Heart of the Event

The announcement also marks a new partnership with Nederburg, one of South Africa’s best-known wine estates and part of Heineken Beverages South Africa. The collaboration signals a fresh chapter for The Cape Wine Auction, blending philanthropy, wine, and large-scale celebration.

“Through this partnership, and the introduction of The Celebration, we’re broadening our reach and welcoming more people into the magic of what this event is all about, changing lives,” says Paul Clüver, Chairman of The Cape Wine Auction Trust.

What to Expect on the Day

Nederburg’s historic grounds transform into an open-air festival space with:

• Live music and entertainment
• Gourmet food stations and pre-booked picnic options
• Curated wine stands and craft cocktails
• Interactive lounges and social spaces

Music Line-up and Culinary Highlights

The music programme features a headline performance by MiCasa, joined by Lloyiso.

“The evening will feature an outstanding music line-up headlined by MiCasa as well as Lloyiso. Their performances are guaranteed to set the tone for a night of joy, connection and celebration,” says organiser Darielle Robertson.

Food plays a central role, with menus curated by some of South Africa’s most recognised chefs, including Reuben Riffel, Peter Tempelhoff and Pete Goffe-Wood.

Adds Clüver, “The combination of world-class entertainment and extraordinary cuisine makes The Celebration a highlight of the Cape Wine Auction, offering guests the chance to experience the best of South African food, wine and hospitality.”
