Before embarking on the next chapter of their journey, the farmers swapped muddy boots for crisp white shirts in a stylish new photo shoot that showcases a different side to the men viewers have come to know.

Meet the five farmers

The five farmers selected to continue on the show are:

• Jack (30), an apple and pear farmer from Hermanus in the Western Cape.
• JD (28), who runs a mixed farming operation near Reitz in the Free State.
• Francois (34), a conservationist from Hoedspruit in Mpumalanga.
• Arno (28), a forestry farmer from Tzaneen in Limpopo.
• Willie (37), a cattle and maize farmer from Harrismith in the Free State.

Each brings a unique personality, lifestyle and farming background as they search for someone willing to embrace life on the farm alongside them.

Among the five finalists, Jack proved to be the most popular after receiving the highest number of letters from women hoping to meet him.

The next stage of the competition sees each farmer selecting ten potential matches from the letters they received before meeting them during the highly anticipated speed dating round.
