Ask A Man is moving from radio to television, with Somizi Mhlongo, Quinton “Naked DJ” Masina and Vafa Naraghi joining the adaptation. The show premieres on S3 on Monday, 2 November 2026, at 7pm, with a simultaneous broadcast on SABC Plus.
Originally popularised on METRO FM, the relationship feature covers dating, heartbreak, marriage and family dynamics. Its television version will bring anonymous audience stories into discussions featuring the three hosts and expert insights.
Anonymous Stories Drive Relationship Discussions
Ask A Man will explore situationships, dating dilemmas, heartbreak, marriage and family expectations.
Selected stories will be discussed anonymously, allowing contributors to share personal experiences without being identified.
“Bringing this established and much-loved format to S3 is about building on that connection and giving these conversations a new dimension through television,” says Dichaba Phalatse, SABC Video Entertainment Marketing Manager.
Siyanda Fikelephi, METRO FM’s acting business manager, says the adaptation will continue the trust built with radio audiences by offering South Africans a space to share their experiences anonymously and hear fresh perspectives.

Vafa Naraghi Adds Comedy and a Multicultural Perspective
