South African actor Anton Jeftha and his wife Tegan are still reflecting on what they describe as one of the most blessed days of their lives.
The couple announced their engagement in December 2024 and were married on 19 December 2025. Looking back, both say emotion shaped every part of the celebration.

Aisle Moment That Stood Still
For Anton, one memory rises above the rest.
“Watching Tegan walk down the aisle towards me was incredibly emotional. There were many moments, but that one stays with me.”
For Tegan, the emotion came from seeing their families united.
“I get emotional thinking about the beauty of our families and friends being together. It felt like one big family gathering. Everyone was present and joyful.”

Faith At The Centre
Faith formed the foundation of the day.
“My faith is my firm foundation,” Tegan says. “Believing God was present allowed me to experience everything fully. There was peace and inner joy I cannot describe.”
Seeing each other for the first time brought calm rather than nerves. Anton had waited months to see Tegan’s dress.
“She told me she had found the one, but nothing prepared me for how beautiful she looked. I was blown away.”
For Tegan, the moment felt grounding. “Anton has always been my safe place. I did not feel nervous. I felt at home.”

Classic Style With Personal Detail
Tegan wore a beaded off-the-shoulder gown by Calegra Bridal House. It was the first dress she tried on. Her girlfriends, mother and sister were moved to tears. A custom lace choker made from the same fabric completed the look.
Anton chose a three-piece tuxedo tailored by Frank Bespoke. “Nothing beats a well-tailored tux,” he says.
The aesthetic remained classic and timeless, with neutral tones and understated bespoke details.

A Ceremony Rooted In Worship
Tegan’s uncle, Apostle Goldman, officiated. Her cousins led praise and worship. Both sets of parents prayed over the couple, followed by an anointing ritual at the reception.
“You could feel the impact on our guests,” Tegan says.
Music shaped the celebration. Anton’s father sang as they entered the reception. Anton later surprised Tegan by singing after his speech. Their first dance was set to Beyond by Leon Bridges. The dance was simple and unchoreographed. “We wanted to stay present,” Anton explains.

Looking Ahead To 2026
When asked what love has taught him, Anton answers without hesitation.
“When you know, you know. After committing before God, you keep choosing your person in every season. Home must be a place of peace. We chose to build that together.”
In 2026, the couple plans intentional growth across personal, professional and spiritual areas. Anton has several projects in development, including a Netflix release. Tegan remains his sounding board and support.
Asked to summarise their love story in three words, Anton replies, “A return home.” Tegan adds, “My answered prayer.”
