Joshua Van and Alexandre Pantoja will meet again with the UFC flyweight championship on the line when UFC 331 takes place in Los Angeles this weekend.

UFC 331: Van vs Pantoja 2 takes place at the Crypto.com Arena on Saturday, 19 September 2026, with South African fans facing another late night if they want to follow the action live.

The main card starts at 3am SAST on Sunday, 20 September, while the preliminary action begins earlier.

What time is UFC 331 in South Africa?

Here’s the UFC 331 schedule converted to South African Standard Time:

Van and Pantoja meet again for UFC title

The main event is a flyweight championship rematch between current titleholder Joshua Van and former champion Alexandre Pantoja.

Their first meeting took place at UFC 323, where Van claimed the title after Pantoja suffered a first-round arm injury.

The rematch now gives the pair another opportunity to settle the championship fight.

UFC president Dana White has also announced an additional $50,000 “Proper Chaos” bonus for UFC 331, which he will personally award to the fighter he believes is most deserving.
