The line-up for Grammy-nominated R&B star Tamia‘s highly anticipated South African Women’s Month tour has received an exciting boost, with award-winning musician Sjava and renowned DJ and producer DJ Milo officially joining the celebrations.

The announcement comes shortly after promoters Remoakantse Holdings confirmed acclaimed singer-songwriter Zonke as the tour’s official opening act, adding even more excitement to one of the country’s most anticipated live music events this August.

Sjava Joins the Celebration

Known for his distinctive sound and powerful storytelling, Sjava has built a loyal fan base through his unique blend of Afro-soul, hip hop and traditional African influences.

His addition to the tour brings a strong local element that is expected to resonate with audiences across Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria.

Sharing his excitement, Sjava said he is looking forward to performing alongside Tamia and Zonke during the Women’s Month celebrations.

“I’m looking forward to sharing the stage with Tamia and my sister, Zonke, on this special tour. Music has always brought people together, and being part of a Women’s Month celebration like this is truly special. I can’t wait to connect with audiences across the country and share these moments through music,” he said.

DJ Milo Adds His Signature Energy

Joining the line-up is DJ Milo, who will keep audiences entertained with energetic sets featuring a blend of hip hop, R&B and house music.

Widely respected for his versatility behind the decks, DJ Milo’s inclusion adds another dimension to an already impressive programme.

Zonke Set to Open the Shows

Zonke, whose involvement was announced earlier, said she is honoured to be part of the tour and excited to perform alongside Tamia.

The award-winning singer will open the shows as part of the Women’s Month celebrations, bringing her acclaimed catalogue of hits to audiences around the country.

Tamia Returns to South Africa

Tamia returns to South Africa for the first time since her successful 2023 visit.

The celebrated R&B star remains one of the genre’s most beloved performers, known for timeless hits including Still, Officially Missing You, So Into You and You Put a Move On My Heart.
