Nando’s has teamed up with Springbok captain Siya Kolisi to launch Siya Sauce, a limited-edition sauce available free at its restaurants nationwide from 3 November 2026, while stocks last.
Launched on Saturday, 31 October, at the opening of Nando’s new Stellenbosch restaurant, the sauce combines garlic, citrus and a gentle smoky finish.
Developed with Kolisi around his favourite flavours, Siya Sauce takes a mild approach to heat.
Siya Kolisi Helps Develop The Flavour
The collaboration centres on food and shared meals, with Kolisi helping select a flavour combination he wanted to use regularly.
“Developing this sauce was so much fun,” says Kolisi.
“We landed on something I could eat every day, on pretty much everything. That was the one for me. It’s an incredible honour to have worked on this with Nando’s, and what I’m most excited about now is for people to taste it.”

Mpho Boshoga Designs The Bottle Artwork
Pretoria-based illustrator Mpho Boshoga created the bottle’s artwork, drawing on his expressive, street-culture-inspired style.
His involvement forms part of Nando’s support for local artists.
“Being part of this project is a life-changing opportunity to bring my artistic creativity into a space that’s all about culture, community and a whole lot of flavour,” says Boshoga.
Familiar Faces Join The Campaign
The launch commercial features Kolisi alongside friends including Siv Ngesi, Sobantu Nqayi, Ray Malo, Vafa Naraghi, Nina Hastie, Jam Jam and Anton Taylor.
The campaign focuses on friends gathering around food, with banter and shared meals setting the tone.
“Siya is someone the whole country can agree on, and the sauce is much the same. It’s easy-going, packed with personality and made to be poured generously,” says Jessica Wheeler, Nando’s Chief Brand and Customer Officer. “We’re looking forward to seeing what South Africans put it on first.”

Where To Find Nando’s Siya Sauce
Siya Sauce will be available exclusively at Nando’s restaurants nationwide from Tuesday, 3 November 2026.
The limited-edition sauce is available free, while stocks last.
