Two additional events added due to popular demand

The holidays are almost upon us and The Maslow Sandton has answered the call for extra festive season events with a final Sunday Society picnic and a Christmas dinner, which are selling out fast too.

Sunday Society Picnic – Sunday, 15 December 2024

Dress in festive shades of rich red, deep green, shimmering gold, or crisp white for a stylish and joyful picnic on Sunday, December 15.  Indulge in a specially curated picnic for two with a selection of gourmet treats, from tempting appetisers to decadent desserts. Your basket, includes a bottle of Graham Beck bubbly that you can sip as you laze in the sun or under shady trees on The Maslow’s beautifully manicured lawns. The picnic runs from 1pm until 6pm, with live music from 2pm. “We added an extra hour to give our guests time to savour the ambience in beautiful summer weather,” said The Maslow Sandton General Manager, Herman Swart. Christmas Dinner – Wednesday, 25 December 2024

Due to high demand, The Maslow is also offering a Christmas dinner in the form of a festive buffet feast the whole family will love. Starting with a mezze of dips, crudites and salads followed by a carvery of roast chicken, crisp roast pork belly, slow roasted lamb with minted chimichurri and fresh hake fillets with a lemon and caper cream sauce. Various vegetable side options include roast potatoes, honey glazed carrots, mashed potatoes and Christmas rice – but who needs veggies when there is Christmas pudding with brandy butter and custard, Christmas Croquembouche, mince pies, sliced fresh fruit and an edible gingerbread house. “Younger guests will be entertained with a face painter and balloon maker to add a touch of fun to this special day,” Swart said.
