Two Exclusive Performances Set for Johannesburg and Cape Town This November
Legendary RuPaul’s Drag Race icon and global fan favourite Latrice Royale is set to make her long-awaited return to South Africa this November for two dazzling live performances — one in Cape Town and one in Johannesburg.
This marks Latrice’s first visit to the country in 13 years, and audiences can expect the charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent that made her an international drag superstar in her acclaimed show, “Terms and Conditions May Vary.”
“I’m way overdue for another visit and performance in South Africa,” says Latrice Royale. “The energy, the love, and the passion from South African audiences are unmatched. I’ve missed it so much, and I can’t wait to reconnect with everyone again!”
A Drag Icon Returns
Known for her infectious laughter, commanding stage presence, and uplifting message of self-love and resilience, Latrice Royale rose to fame on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 4 and later returned for All Stars 1 and 4. She has since toured the world with sold-out shows, earning her place as one of drag’s most beloved performers.
Her South African tour will feature a star-studded lineup, including her husband, Christopher Hamblin, and three of South Africa’s most celebrated drag artists — Manila Von Teez, Kat Gilardi, and Stella Rosé — promising a glittering showcase of international and local drag excellence.

“It’s an absolute honour to share the stage with a global icon like Latrice Royale,” says Manila Von Teez. “She’s inspired so many of us to be fearless and authentic, so to see her perform live again in South Africa is going to be pure magic!”
“Latrice Royale embodies everything that makes drag so powerful: heart, humour, and humanity,” adds Kat Gilardi. “Her presence uplifts every space she walks into, and we can’t wait to give her that big South African welcome she deserves.”
“Performing alongside Latrice is truly a dream come true,” says Stella Rosé. “This show is going to be unforgettable — a real celebration of love, pride, and performance.”
What to Expect
Audiences can look forward to an evening bursting with music, comedy, glamour, and heartfelt moments as Latrice and her all-star cast bring an unforgettable celebration of drag, artistry, and empowerment to South African stages.
“Drag is about connection — celebrating who you are, no matter where you’re from,” says Latrice. “South Africa has always shown me nothing but love. I’m so ready to give that love right back!”
