Cape Town’s iconic Cape Grace Hotel, in collaboration with London’s renowned Savoy Hotel, is set to deliver one of the city’s most anticipated culinary events this August 2025 — a limited-edition Afternoon Tea experience like no other.

A Celebration of Afternoon Tea with a South African Twist

Hosted at Heirloom, the Cape Grace’s flagship fine dining restaurant, this unique collaboration fuses the time-honoured British tradition of afternoon tea with vibrant South African flavours. Expect a menu designed around seasonal local ingredients, complemented by The Savoy’s signature style.

The curated menu includes indulgent treats such as coronation chicken sandwiches, Franschhoek smoked trout, The Savoy’s iconic raisin scones with clotted cream, and patisserie highlights like the celebrated strawberries and cream cake, brought straight from The Savoy’s London menu to Cape Town.
