Comic Con Cape Town brings global film and series stars to the Mother City

Comic Con Cape Town returns from 30 April to 3 May at CTICC 2, giving fans the chance to meet the stars behind some of the world’s most loved film and series characters. This year’s line-up includes international names and South African talent, with appearances, Q&As and meet-and-greets across the weekend.

A star-studded line-up

Christopher Sabat
A leading voice in anime, Christopher Sabat is known for roles including Vegeta and Piccolo in Dragon Ball Z, Roronoa Zoro in One Piece, and All Might in My Hero Academia. His work as a voice actor, director and producer has shaped some of anime’s most recognisable characters.

Jason Liebrecht
With over two decades in the industry, Jason Liebrecht has voiced characters such as Dabi in My Hero Academia, Rob Lucci in One Piece, and the Beast Titan in Attack on Titan, making him a familiar voice to anime fans worldwide.

Evanna Lynch
Best known for her role as Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter film series, Evanna Lynch brings a strong fan following and a diverse career spanning film, television and voice work.

Martial T Batcheman
A South African-based actor with international credits, Martial has appeared in productions including Redeeming Love and Unseen. He also stars as Brook in Netflix’s live-action One Piece.

Steven John Ward
Known for his role as Mihawk in Netflix’s One Piece, Steven John Ward has built a growing international profile while continuing to represent South African talent on the global stage.

New guest announcements

Jazzara Jaslyn
An award-winning South African actress, writer and director, Jazzara Jaslyn is recognised for her role as Miss Valentine in One Piece, along with performances in Warrior, Professionals and Lioness. Her work also extends to film and theatre, with multiple international awards for her projects.

Callum Kerr
Scottish actor and musician Callum Kerr appears as Smoker in One Piece. He has also featured in Monarch, Virgin River and The Wheel of Time, and is known for his strong connection with fans at conventions.

Ty Keogh
South African actor Tyrone Keogh joins the line-up following his role in One Piece season two. His career spans local and international productions including Blood Diamond, Homeland and Black Sails.

What fans can expect

Guests will appear on the Main Stage and Artist Alley Stage, take part in Q&A sessions, share behind-the-scenes insights and meet fans throughout the event.
