Air France has expanded its in-flight entertainment offering with the addition of Apple TV+, giving long-haul passengers access to more than 45 hours of original series, films and documentaries.
What passengers can watch
Travellers can now enjoy popular Apple TV+ series such as Ted Lasso, The Morning Show and Severance, alongside acclaimed documentaries like Prehistoric Planet and a range of family-friendly titles. The line-up also includes French-themed content, including Carême, reinforcing Air France’s commitment to showcasing local culture.
The first three episodes of each series are available through a dedicated Apple TV channel on seatback screens. Content is offered in both French and English, with subtitles and accessibility options. The Apple TV+ catalogue will be refreshed every two months to keep the selection current.
Streaming on personal devices
Apple TV+ is also accessible on personal devices via Air France’s new high-speed Wi-Fi portal, which is being rolled out across the airline’s fleet. Passengers receive one week of free access, allowing them to continue watching their chosen series after the flight.
Air France expects the high-speed Wi-Fi service to be available on all aircraft, including regional routes, by the end of the year.
A broader digital upgrade
The Apple TV+ partnership forms part of a wider upgrade to Air France’s digital and entertainment services. Long-haul flights now offer more than 1,500 hours of on-demand content. Newer cabins feature 4K seatback screens with Bluetooth connectivity, while a redesigned user interface is being introduced across the fleet.
French productions currently make up around 30% of the total content library, supported by partnerships with major providers such as Canal+ and Apple TV. The latest addition strengthens Air France’s positioning as a premium carrier focused on comfort, choice and digital innovation.
