Amy Jones returns with emotional new single Again

South African singer-songwriter Amy Jones has released her brand-new single Again, marking a more personal and introspective chapter in her music career.

The track, available on all major streaming platforms, follows the success of her radio hit Nobody, which climbed multiple South African charts earlier this year and secured a place on the Radiomonitor Top 20 Airplay Chart.

Produced by acclaimed hitmaker Luke Goliath, Again reunites Amy with the producer behind Nobody.

A song about authenticity and real priorities

At its core, Again reflects on letting go of external pressures and choosing authenticity, family and emotional peace over appearances and ambition.

“The inspiration behind Again came from the idea of walking away from things that once felt like everything; the noise, the chaos, the attention, and even dreams I once believed defined me and choosing something quieter, but far more real,” says Jones.

“It’s about reaching a point where you stop chasing what looks good on the outside and start protecting what feels right on the inside.”

She says the song was deeply inspired by her personal life and the people closest to her.

“Because what I have now – my family, my baby boy, and a love that feels deeply genuine – means far more to me than anything I had before.”

Rising songwriter Andre Graham behind the lyrics

The single was written by rising South African artist and songwriter Andre Graham, who has steadily built a reputation as one of the country’s most exciting young creatives.

Since debuting in 2020, Graham has collaborated with major local artists including Lloyiso, Shekhinah and Paxton, while also working alongside international artists and Grammy-winning producers.
