Cape St Francis Resort – Where Sun, Sea and Slow Living Meet

200

Tucked along the sun-kissed Eastern Cape shoreline of South Africa, Cape St Francis Resort is a place where sandy feet are welcome and the pace of life slows, with one of the most celebrated beaches in the country just a few steps from your door.

Families return year after year, drawn by the laid-back vibe, the freedom to roam, and the feeling that this stretch of coastline might just be the best-kept secret on the Garden Route.

Room for Everyone

Accommodation at the Cape St Francis Resort is wonderfully varied. From barefoot luxury to budget-friendly, there’s a space for every kind of traveller.

Beach Break offers exclusive five-star villas, perfect for multi-generational holidays, special celebrations, or just a week of beachside bliss. With private swimming pools, sea views and direct beach access, these luxury villas deliver all the spoils.

Village Break consists of classic family-style cottages with shady gardens, barbecue areas and room for kids to run around. Think breakfasts on the patio and easy evenings around the fire. Many of these units feature a private plunge pool.

Club Break presents hotel-style studio or multi-room apartments with kitchenettes, ideal for couples, solo adventurers or active families.

For budget-conscious travellers, there’s also backpacker accommodation just minutes from the beach.

All these options are serviced daily and include Wi-Fi and secure parking.

Fresh Flavours & Good Company

Mingle with locals at the on-site Joe Fish Restaurant & Bar while enjoying its laid-back vibe and legendary calamari, straight off the chokka boats. All dishes on this restaurant’s varied menu are fresh and seasonal, with many ingredients locally sourced and grown.

At Full Stop Café, you’ll find on-tap beer and gin, wood-fired pizzas, stacked burgers and perfectly grilled prawns. Kids get their own menu and plenty of space to play.

Pools, Pampering & Sea Breezes

On hot days, there are two communal swimming pools to splash around in, surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas.

After a barefoot day on the beach, you might be in the mood for a pedicure. On-site Hibiscus Health & Beauty Studio offers everything from facials to deep-tissue massage. Next door, a hair stylist will give you the perfect beach blonde highlights.

So Much to Do, So Easy to Do Nothing

From dawn patrol surf sessions at Seal Point to lazy days under an umbrella, Cape St Francis is a playground for water lovers with surfing, canoeing, snorkelling, stand-up paddleboarding and fishing charters among the many things to do.

If you prefer dry feet, you’ll find nearby tennis courts, cycling routes, hiking trails across fynbos-covered dunes, and some of the Eastern Cape’s best birdwatching. For golfers, the renowned St Francis Links and St Francis Bay Golf Club are a short drive away.

You can also book scenic canal cruises on the Resort’s private barge or enjoy full-day excursions on the Kromme River.

Drift Away in Paradise

With its salty air, friendly faces, and easy charm, Cape St Francis Resort is the kind of place where days stretch out, worries drift off, and every moment feels a little lighter.
