Brutal Fruit Spritzer is breaking new ground with the launch of The Pink Table, a revolutionary global movement dedicated to celebrating the power of women coming together. This initiative, which forms a key part of the brand’s ethos of blending aspiration with accessibility, will make its mark during the prestigious Paris Fashion Week 2025. Here, the iconic beverage brand will gather its fans, affectionately referred to as “besties,” from South Africa and beyond, creating an extraordinary opportunity for connection, celebration, and unforgettable memories in the City of Lights.

Candice van den Bosch, Brand Director of Brutal Fruit, explains that the brand’s growth over the past 23 years has been deeply informed by a keen understanding of its besties’ desires. A pivotal moment came in 2018 with the launch of the Ruby Apple flavour, which transformed traditional apple cider into the beloved drink of choice for many South African women. This led to the emergence of “Saturday Spritzers,” a brand-specific cultural event that resonated profoundly and secured its place at the forefront of the industry, as evidenced by numerous accolades and a commanding share of voice against competitors.

With a footprint that now extends across Africa, the UK, China, and Brazil, van den Bosch highlights the evolution of Saturday Spritzers into a global phenomenon: “We’ve witnessed the remarkable chemistry that arises when women gather in authentic connection and unconditional acceptance. This magic can be replicated wherever we have besties, and The Pink Table signifies the next phase in our brand journey.”

However, she firmly asserts that the origin of The Pink Table is rooted in South Africa’s vibrant culture. “This country has bestowed upon Brutal Fruit its voice, character, and essential understanding of what women seek from a premium beverage experience. The Pink Table is both our heartfelt thank you to South African besties who have supported us and an invitation for our global besties to witness the special magic of these gatherings.”

The grand launch event of The Pink Table took place at the breathtaking Cavalli Wine Estate in Cape Town, hosted by the dynamic Bonang Matheba, whose effervescent personality mirrored the drink’s bubbles. The event featured electrifying performances from acclaimed DJs and a special appearance by the esteemed storyteller Mama Gcina, culminating in a show-stopping performance by leading recording artist Ami Faku.

The visually arresting Pink Table, akin to a Grande Dame, was unveiled with dramatic flair, captivating guests with its fluid contours and bold aesthetics. This design encapsulates the duality that Brutal Fruit embodies—bold yet feminine, and strong yet gentle—drawing guests together and fostering meaningful connections.

Looking onward, The Pink Table movement is set to introduce a variety of customised experiences, limited-edition products, and digital platforms that allow women to create their own Pink Table, whether at extravagant events or intimate home gatherings.
