Entries Open for the 2026 Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award

717

The Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award returns to South Africa for its fifth year, once again celebrating women who are reshaping industries and leading with purpose.

Entries for the 2026 edition open from 2 March to 12 April 2026. Recognised globally as one of the most respected accolades for female founders and CEOs, the award invites women entrepreneurs to grow their visibility, expand their networks, and elevate their businesses.

Honouring Audacity and Purpose

At the heart of Bold by Veuve Clicquot is a commitment to women who build with courage. The Bold Woman Award celebrates leaders who create impact beyond profit, echoing the pioneering spirit of Madame Clicquot.

Since its launch in 1972, the award has honoured almost 500 women across 27 countries. These laureates form a powerful global network of entrepreneurs who challenge convention and redefine leadership.

A Legacy Rooted in History

In 1805, Madame Clicquot took over the Maison at a time when women were not permitted to work or hold bank accounts. She went on to revolutionise the champagne industry, introducing the riddling table, producing the first recorded vintage champagne and creating the first blended rosé champagne.

Her global ambition shaped the brand’s identity. Her legacy continues to inspire modern entrepreneurs who lead on their own terms.

Two Categories, One Vision

The Bold Woman Award recognises established leaders who have built successful, scalable businesses.

The Bold Future Award celebrates emerging entrepreneurs whose companies have operated for less than five years and show strong potential for transformation and growth.

Together, the categories support women at different stages of their entrepreneurial journeys.
