Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere – Bruce Springsteen Biopic Hits Theatres October 24

20th Century Studios has dropped the official trailer for Scott Cooper’s much-anticipated biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, fresh off its glowing debut at the Telluride Film Festival.

The film, which currently boasts a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, promises a raw and moving exploration of one of Bruce Springsteen’s most pivotal eras.

The Story Behind Nebraska

At the heart of the film lies the creation of Springsteen’s 1982 album Nebraska, a stripped-down, hauntingly acoustic record that has become one of his most enduring works.

Recorded alone on a 4-track in his New Jersey bedroom, Nebraska defied commercial expectations, prioritising truth and vulnerability over arena anthems.

Nebraska is where Bruce chose truth over expectation… to confront himself with just silence and a four-track recorder,” explains director Scott Cooper.

“For him to trust me with telling that story, the most vulnerable chapter of his life, is the greatest honour I’ve had as a filmmaker.”

Springsteen himself reflected: “This film takes a couple years out of my life and looks at them very closely, a time when I made Nebraska and went through some personal difficulties. I’m so appreciative of Jeremy Allen White and the entire cast for their wonderful and moving performances.”

A Stellar Cast and Creative Team

Jeremy Allen White (The Bear) takes on the role of Bruce Springsteen, with Jeremy Strong as long-time manager Jon Landau.

The ensemble includes Paul Walter Hauser as guitar tech Mike Batlan, Odessa Young as Faye, Stephen Graham as Doug Springsteen, Gaby Hoffman as Adele Springsteen, and David Krumholtz as Columbia executive Al Teller.

Behind the scenes, the film is shaped by an acclaimed creative team:

  • Director & Screenplay: Scott Cooper, adapting Warren Zanes’ book
  • Producers: Cooper, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Eric Robinson, Scott Stuber
  • Executive Producers: Tracey Landon, Jon F. Vein, Warren Zanes
  • Score: Jeremiah Fraites
  • Cinematography: Masanobu Takayanagi
  • Production Design: Stefania Cella
  • Costume Design: Kasia Walicka-Maimone
  • Editing: Pamela Martin

Release Date

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere opens in theatres nationwide on October 24, 2025, inviting audiences to step inside the intimate, unguarded world of The Boss at a crossroads in his career.
