In a move that has set tongues wagging in the rugby world, Roc Nation Sports International has announced the signing of England and Bath centre Ollie Lawrence, a player lauded for his explosive power and dynamic playmaking abilities.
At just 25 years old, Ollie Lawrence has already made his mark on the international stage, earning over 30 Test caps and playing a pivotal role in England’s journey to the semi-finals of the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Lawrence, who has quickly become an integral part of Premiership Rugby club Bath, joins an elite group of athletes at Roc Nation Sports International, which boasts notable England internationals such as Marcus Smith and Ellis Genge.
He also joins a star-studded stable headlined by Siya Kolisi, South Africa’s two-time World Cup-winning captain.
Lawrence’s arrival is anticipated to further elevate the presence of the organisation in the global rugby arena.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ollie to the Roc Nation Sports International family,” said Paul Adesoye, the Head of Rugby at Roc Nation Sports International.
“His talent, passion, and dedication to the sport make him a perfect fit for our organisation.
“We look forward to working with him and offering a comprehensive array of services to maximise his potential and elevate his career both on and off the field.”
Expressing his enthusiasm about this new association, Lawrence remarked, “I’m incredibly proud to partner with Roc Nation Sports International.
“Their team’s expertise and commitment to their athletes align perfectly with my goals. I’m looking forward to this next chapter in my career.”
The partnership between Lawrence and Roc Nation Sports International is expected to usher in exciting opportunities and collaborative ventures that will not only enhance his profile within rugby, but also broaden his influence beyond the pitch.
