Sean Paul is coming to South Africa: Cape Town, Pretoria and Durban tour dates confirmed

South African Sean Paul fans have something to look forward to this summer, with the Grammy Award-winning dancehall star heading to the country for three shows in December.

The Jamaican artist will perform in Cape Town, Pretoria and Durban as part of his South African tour, bringing more than three decades of hits to local audiences.

Sean Paul will kick off the tour at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on 3 December, followed by the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria on 4 December.

The tour will conclude at the Durban ICC on 6 December.

Sean Paul brings three decades of hits to SA

Sean Paul has built a catalogue of global hits that have become synonymous with parties, festivals and summer celebrations.

His best-known tracks include “Get Busy”, “Temperature” and “We Be Burnin’”, alongside collaborations such as “Baby Boy”.

His music combines dancehall with pop, reggae, hip-hop and other global sounds, while his energetic performance style has seen him perform at major festivals and live events around the world.

South African audiences have also had a long connection with dancehall culture, with Sean Paul’s music becoming a familiar part of the country’s party soundtrack.

With only three South African performances confirmed, fans wanting to see Sean Paul live will have three opportunities across the country.

The tour is presented by Blu Blood and Fire Water Earth Productions, in association with Spring Water SA, with KFM serving as the official broadcast partner in Cape Town, 947 in Pretoria and East Coast Radio in Durban.
