Situated in the picturesque Nuy Valley, Nuy Winery has built their legacy on masterfully crafted wines inspired by their exceptional terroir and fine winemaking skills. It is also this inheritance of fine wine excellence on which their wine selection is based.

Wine ranges include the Inspiration, Mastery, and Legacy.

Inspiration range includes the recently launched Rosé Moscato Perléand a variety quality Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and bubblies – an off-dry Sauvignon Blanc and sweeter Muscadel.

The Inspiration range now features a striking new design, with a signature “suikerbekkie” (sunbird) gracing the label. Known for their long, curved bills and love for nectar, these tiny birds are a proud part of Nuy’s natural heritage, thriving in the winery’s gardens. The label pays tribute to the hundreds of sunbirds that call Nuy home, reflecting the harmony between nature and winemaking.

The complex Mastery range includes Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinotage. Nuy Winery’s flagship Legacy range consists of a white and red blend, Cap Classique, Muscadel, Craft Gin and potstilled Brandy.

The Mastery and Legacy ranges feature a label combining the coats of arms of neighbouring Worcester and Robertson with a depiction of Nuy on the hill in the background.

Nuy on the hill tasting room, restaurant & deli

Nuy Winery opened their showcase venue and restaurant, Nuy on the hill, in December 2015. Located on a slight elevation alongside the R60 between Worcester and Robertson, right next to the Nuy Valley turnoff.

The venue consists of wood and stone elements in keeping with the natural surroundings complemented by a breathtaking view across the Nuy Valley vineyards – the ‘veld’ surrounding the building has been preserved during construction to protect the natural fauna and flora.

A spacious patio surrounded by lush green lawn provides ample indoor and outdoor seating for patrons to treat themselves to a wide choice of restaurant dishes ranging from tapas, wood-fired pizzas, hamburgers and steaks to a selection of banting dishes.

The deli is stocked with a variety of preserved products sourced from local and afar, homebrewed coffees, freshly baked breads and speciality pastries.

Patrons are invited to enjoy their purchases either as takeaway, or in a picnic setup, while keeping an eye on the kids conquering the jungle gym and Giant Jenga.

MTB Route

A mountain bike route through the Nuy Valley is also on offer and cyclists are welcome to make use of the washing station and showers located on the premises.

Function venue

Nuy on the hill would love to make your special celebrations extra special.

A maximum of 90 guests with a dance floor and 130 guests without dance floor and an option to have wedding on the grass area (weather permitting).
