French brands and fashion have us on style choke. We can sit and make a list of all the brands whilst also talking about their journey. They also have that elongated lasting touch to them. We have to agree that Paris is definitely the city of fashion, ranging from high-end designer maisons, to even the newly established designers. We have licked the cherry to the hub of fashion itself here. We’ve brought together 3 of some of the most loved which are easily recognizable. The Parisian luxury and iconic brands who deliver in style and sophistication.

Chanel

Starting our list, Chanel. Founded by Coco Chanel in 1910 this brand has stood the test of long-term time. It’s one brand that cements itself well in the fashion and beauty industry. Chanel products are our CEO (Classy-Elegance-Opulence) approved list. The quality and endurance of their garments outlast latter years.

What to purchase: Colognes, handbags and earrings.

Fun-fact: Chanel logo, an interlocking “C”, hasn’t been altered in its original design since 1925.

Dior

What’s key to note is that Dior was definitely going to make it to this list. Marking this brand as the luxe go-to is commendable. The brand that has so firmly nailed itself to luxury was founded in 1946 by Christian Dior, and to this day the brand remains on demand.

What to purchase: Perfumes and bags

Fun-fact: Christian Dior, the founder, started his career by drawing fashion sketches for various designers and magazines before eventually becoming a designer himself.

Yves Saint Laurent

Founded by French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Bierre In 1961. This brand boasts of haute couture, ready to wear designs, footwear and cosmetics. Just like Chanel and Dior, the brands continue to run well even after the founders passing.

What to purchase: Shoes and bags.

Fun-fact: In 2007, an art collection Saint Laurent had assembled with his partner, Pierre Bergé, was auctioned in Paris for more than $260 million, a record price for a private art collection.
