Maserati GT2 targets prestigious racing championships with new features

The Maserati GT2, a symbol of excellence within the world of closed-wheel competitions, is set to broaden its competitive edges in 2025, boasting new features that enhance its performance capabilities and make it eligible for a wider range of racing series.

Following its remarkable comeback in the previous season, the House of the Trident is ready to take the racing world by storm with the introduction of its exclusive Endurance Pack, tailored for both sprint and endurance races.

During the opening of the 2025 GT2 European Series by Pirelli, Maserati Corse unveiled the innovative Endurance Pack, which not only aims to reinforce the super sports car’s competitive stature but also reflects the evolving needs of its dedicated customer base. With the latest enhancements, the Maserati GT2 is perfectly positioned to traverse the most iconic racing circuits, further solidifying its status as a formidable contender.

The official tests at the ACI Sport Italia Italian Gran Turismo Sprint Championship, held at Misano on March 31 and April 1, confirmed the car’s eligibility for the GT Cup Class, setting the stage for thrilling battles on track. Furthermore, the Maserati GT2 made its mark in the European Ultimate Cup Series, which launched at Le Castellet from March 28 to March 30, demonstrating its potential and adaptability across different racing formats.

The Endurance Pack enriches the racing capabilities of the Maserati GT2, featuring advanced components designed to enhance visibility during night sessions, expedite pit stops, and withstand the rigours of extended racing durations — from four to a gruelling 24 hours. This package includes cutting-edge endurance lighting kits, electroluminescent number panels, added sensors, brake bell systems, and even cabin UV light kits. These elements not only improve safety but also ensure that teams can compete at peak levels.

As part of Maserati Corses’ dedication to customisation, this new Endurance Pack can be purchased as an optional extra for new Maserati GT2 vehicles or adapted for existing models via a straightforward kit. Its components will also be readily available as spare parts through an after-sales portal tailored for Maserati Corse customers, allowing for a highly personalised racing experience.
