Ink a Mark 4 Love and Change Lives Forever

Cape Town, 9th December 2024 – Tats 4 Tails is back for its sixth year, and this time, it’s more meaningful than ever. Running from 27 January to 2 February 2025, this star-studded tattoo-a-thon invites animal lovers and ink enthusiasts to get a Mark 4 Love—a tattoo that’s as permanent as the impact it will make on the lives of animals in need.

The funds raised through Tats 4 Tails will provide critical gifts for animals that will last as long as your tattoo will – forever!  “With each Mark 4 Love, you’ll be helping animals to live disease-free, safely, and in loving homes forever” says Spokesperson for the Cape of Good Hope SPCA, Belinda Abraham – “Just as a tattoo lasts a lifetime, so too will the gifts your tattoo provides”.

A Star-Studded Tradition of Compassion

Tats 4 Tails has established itself as one of Cape Town’s most impactful and celebrated charity events, attracting a host of high-profile supporters. Over the past five years, several influential personalities have lent their voices—and their skin—to the cause, all to create a brighter future for animals.

From KFM Presenter Brandon Leigh and musical sensations PJ Twins, to Idols winner Berry Trytsman and singer-songwriter Craig Lucas, the list of personalities who’ve been inked for this cause by renowned tattoo artist Clinton Naidoo is nothing short of impressive. The past line-up also includes Suid Ooster stars Cedwyn Joel and Jill Levenberg, TV and radio presenter Zoe Brown, comedian Simon Orgill, lifestyle and entertainment journalist Venecia Valentine, tech and gaming expert Grant Hinds, tech & gaming content creator Jess Hinds and celebrity chef and Food Network host Jenny Morris, to name a few.

This year, several familiar faces are coming back for more! Getting another Mark 4 Love this year are Brandon Leigh, Venecia Valentine, Tanya Nefdt, Grant, Hinds, Jessica Hinds, and DJ Gremlin.

“As a local tattoo artist, I’m honoured to lend my skills to Tats 4 Tails in support of the SPCA’s incredible work in our community,” says Clinton Naidoo of Primal Culture Tattoo Studio. “Every tattoo I create tells a story, but a Tat 4 Tails tells two—it’s a permanent mark with double the purpose – one for you and one for the animals whose lives you’re helping to transform”.
