Welcome to Elangeni TVET College, a premier public institution providing high-quality Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in South Africa. Supported by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), our College is dedicated to empowering students with the skills, knowledge, and qualifications needed to thrive in their chosen careers. Under the leadership of our esteemed Principal, Mrs. TJ Kula, Elangeni TVET College proudly holds ISO-9001 and ISO-45001 accreditations, ensuring our commitment to excellence in education.

Our mission is to produce employable graduates who are prepared to meet the demands of the
modern workforce, with a strong focus on artisan development. At Elangeni TVET College, we
believe that education should not only inform but also prepare students for life in the real working
world. By offering integrated theoretical and practical experiences, we encourage students to
develop critical thinking skills tailored to specific industries. We pride ourselves on providing a

Elangeni TVET College has opened its online registration for its Aircraft Maintenance Mechanics
Programme in partnership with Starlite Aviation Group. This exciting 3-year programme offers
hands-on training to become a qualified Aircraft Mechanic, with global career opportunities in the
aviation industry. Offered at the Inanda Campus, the programme will ensure critical skills for aviation
safety and success.

Our partnerships with local and international organisations, including the British Council, the
Netherlands, China, and the US Embassy’s Community College Initiative (CCI), reflect our global
outlook and commitment to excellence. In recognition of our efforts, Elangeni TVET College has
received the prestigious Best African Partner Award in the “Skills for Employability Project” from the
British Council. The College maintains a positive rapport with several Sector Education and Training
Authorities (SETAs), which have generously provided funding for the College’s learning programmes,
infrastructure development, and learner placements.

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance educational opportunities, we host annual fundraising
events such as our 3rd Annual Golf Day on 1 August 2025 and our 3rd Annual Gala Dinner on 21
November 2025. The funds raised will support the relocation of our KwaMashu Campus and the
development of a state-of-the-art Skills Centre in Inchanga, further aligning our programs with
industry demands.

Elangeni TVET College offers a wide range of full-time, part-time, and distance learning programs, as
well as occupational skills training, across our eight campuses in and around Durban, including
Inanda, Ndwedwe, Ntuzuma, KwaMashu, Pinetown, Qadi, KwaDabeka, and Mpumalanga.
