Kfm 94.5 has announced the exciting addition of renowned radio personality Stan Mars to its ranks, marking a significant enhancement to its already illustrious brand. The beloved figure of the Cape Town radio scene will officially join the station on 1 April 2025, bringing with him nearly three decades of experience and a deep-seated connection with audiences throughout the Western Cape.

In a bid to further consolidate its status as the premier radio station in the region, Kfm 94.5 is set to debut a brand-new show hosted by Stan, scheduled for Sundays from 6pm to 9pm. The programme promises to be a joyous end-of-week finale, featuring a mix of popular current hits alongside all-time classics – exactly what listeners need to transition into a new week.

Stan told Inbound SA, “It has always been a dream for me to join Kfm 94.5. Sunday night 6-9 was my first slot when I joined ‘P4 Radio’ back in the day, and that was called The Voice of Jazz, so for me to have joined on the same slot, is nostalgic, good vibes, good energy.  The future is bright for radio.”

Station Manager Hennie Myburgh echoed this sentiment, highlighting that Stan’s wealth of experience and insight into the tastes of Western Cape audiences will be invaluable. “His arrival comes at a pivotal moment for Kfm 94.5, as we evolve our programming and strengthen our connection with listeners across the Western Cape and beyond.”

Stan Mars joins a roster of distinguished Kfm 94.5 hosts, including Darren Simpson, Tracey Lange, EB Inglis, and Carl Wastie – each of whom has played a critical role in establishing the station’s profound community ties through music and storytelling.

Listeners are encouraged to mark their calendars for 6 April at 6pm, when Stan Mars will make his much-anticipated debut behind the Kfm 94.5 microphone. Tune in live on 94.5fm or via primediaplus.com every.
