Ciel Dubai Marina opens as the world’s tallest hotel

100

Ciel Dubai Marina, Vignette Collection by IHG, opened on 15 November and now holds the title of the world’s tallest hotel. Standing 377 metres high with 82 floors, the new landmark also features one of the world’s highest infinity pools, offering sweeping views of Dubai’s coastline. Its launch signals a new chapter in Dubai’s reputation for bold design, ambition and elevated hospitality.

A new icon in Dubai Marina

Located in the heart of Dubai Marina, Ciel has 1004 rooms and suites designed to blend calm, texture and movement. Soft lines and natural tones create a sense of ease. Warm hues and dynamic lighting add energy. The design places city and sea in dialogue, with views that shift throughout the day.

Managing Director Heinrich Morio says the opening reflects Dubai’s ambition and its role as a global destination. He highlights the team’s focus on genuine hospitality from the moment guests arrive.

Opening offer for early guests

To mark the launch, Ciel Dubai Marina is offering a limited-time Opening Offer.
It includes:

• breakfast for two
• early check-in from 11:00
• late check-out until 14:00
• a complimentary upgrade to the next room category
• 25 percent off dining at Risen, East14, West 13 and Nuage

Rates start from AED 1050. IHG One Rewards members will also earn double points on the Advance Purchase rate.

Eight dining destinations

Ciel brings a wide selection of dining experiences:

West 13 serves Mediterranean dishes, handmade pasta, tacos, gyros and bakery items.
East 14 offers an Asian buffet with live ramen, pho, sushi, dim sum and curries.
Risen Café and Artisanal Bakery delivers breakfast, lunch and all-day café favourites.
Tattu Dubai introduces a multi-level modern Asian destination spread over three levels.

Tattu Dubai includes the Restaurant and Bar on level 74, the Sky Pool on level 76 and the Sky Lounge on level 81. Each level features dramatic interiors, contemporary Asian cuisine and striking views.

The Tattu Sky Pool sits 310 metres above the ground. It offers daybeds, Japanese-inspired small plates and a relaxed daytime atmosphere that shifts into sunset DJ sessions. The Sky Lounge on level 81 brings cocktails, music and 360-degree views of the city.

Wellness and recreation

The spa on level 61 will open in February 2026 and offer advanced beauty treatments and wellness rituals. The 24-hour gym has skyline views. Guests also have access to Soluna Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah. Families can enjoy the Kids Club, Splash Pad and child-friendly menus.

For business travellers and Executive Club guests, Nest on level 16 offers meeting spaces with modern technology, refreshments and city views.

Connected to Dubai’s top attractions

Managed by The First Group Hospitality, the hotel provides direct access to Dubai Marina’s dining, shopping and waterfront experiences. It is minutes from Palm Jumeirah, Uptown Dubai, JBR and Bluewaters. Guests can move easily around the city through the marina boardwalk, water taxis, the Dubai Marina Mall connection and the tram and metro network.

Part of IHG’s Vignette Collection

Ciel Dubai Marina forms part of IHG’s Vignette Collection, a group of one-of-a-kind hotels that combine local identity with global hospitality standards. The brand focuses on two key hallmarks: Memorable Rituals and a Means for Good.

Memorable Rituals

The hotel’s Morning Hydration Ritual brings a wellness moment to each day. Guests enjoy OneShot-blended waters at the pool and gym, reflecting the hotel’s focus on vitality and balanced living.

A Means for Good

Ciel Dubai Marina supports the International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA). The partnership trains and uplifts emerging culinary talent through monthly workshops, mentorship and career pathways. The goal is to help new chefs grow, innovate and enter the hospitality industry with confidence.

Ciel Dubai Marina now stands as a defining symbol of Dubai’s vision for bold design and contemporary travel. It offers a mix of luxury, culture, dining and meaningful experiences, setting a new standard for stays in the Marina district.
