Ceres Zipline Adventures

388

“Freedommmmm!” That is what your soul will be shouting when you take your first step off the platform at the first slide and jet into a magical space above the Koekedouw River.

A mere 1 ½ hour’s drive from Cape Town, you will find our office at the entrance to the beautiful little town of Ceres in the Witzenberg Valley. We are on the R43 and have ample parking.

Our Zipslide Tour, “foefieslide” adventure takes place in the lovely mountains surrounding the Valley. We offer 8 slides, totalling a length of 1.4km! The amazing rock formations and river form a spectacular backdrop to a fun-, adrenaline-filled adventure! The surrounding Skurweberg Mountains (you will see why it is called Skurweberg, roughly translated to Scab or Rough Mountains) forms a picturesque backdrop to your journey.

How does it work?

You will be kitted up at our office in a full body harness with state of the art equipment (our patented braking system) and two fully trained guides will accompany you on the Zipline tour.

You will then hop on our “Zipslide taxi/bus” and we will transport you (about 5 km) up into the mountains! On the drive down the main road and through suburban Ceres, you will get a feel for our lovely town before we head up into the mountain.

And then the fun starts! From the drop off point, a short walk takes you to the departure point at the first slide, from where the breath-taking view reaches over the town of Ceres and across the Ceres Valley.

The slides vary in lengths from 100 meters to 291 meters! The highest point above the ground is 40 meters. The duration of the tour is group size dependant (1h00 – 1h30min average).

Price includes two bottles 500ml water.

We operate in all-weather conditions and there is no limit to the size of the group we can accommodate. Great to know is that kids from as young as 3 years can be part of this amazing adventure.

Operating hours: Weekdays from 9:00 till 15:00 and weekends from 8:00 till 15:00. During peak seasons we are open till late.

Tours depart every hour and bookings for weekends and for the last tour of the day are essential.

Our pricing structure is as follows:

Rate:  R 500.00 per person (all ages.)  Special rates for group bookings can be negotiated.  Bookings recommended.
