TRON: Ares Drops Electrifying Trailer with Nine Inch Nails’ First New Track in 5 Years

In a headline-grabbing musical reveal, TRON: Ares features an original score by Grammy®-winning rock band Nine Inch Nails. Their first single from the soundtrack, “As Alive As You Need Me To Be,” drops alongside the trailer, marking the band’s return after a five-year hiatus.

This also marks Nine Inch Nails’ first full film score under the band’s name, though bandmates Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have previously won Oscars®, Golden Globes®, a GRAMMY®, and an Emmy® for their acclaimed cinematic compositions.

A New Digital World Threatens Reality

TRON: Ares introduces a bold narrative twist: a highly advanced Program named Ares is sent from the digital grid into the real world on a perilous mission. The film explores humankind’s first direct encounter with artificial intelligence beings, blurring the lines between technology and reality.

All-Star Cast and Creative Team

Directed by Joachim Rønning, the sci-fi epic features a star-studded ensemble including Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, and Gillian Anderson, alongside TRON veteran Jeff Bridges.

The film is produced by Sean Bailey, Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, Jared Leto, Emma Ludbrook, and Steven Lisberger, with Russell Allen as executive producer.
