Comic Con expands its reach with a three-year partnership

Comic Con Africa and Comic Con Cape Town enter a three-year partnership with Capitec as the headline sponsor. Show Director Carla Massmann says the synergies between the brands are clear. Comic Con with Capitec welcomes everyone, and each fan will find something unique and personal. She says the partnership brings together two brands aiming to touch lives in inclusive and meaningful ways.

Dates confirmed for Comic Con Cape Town and Comic Con Africa

In 2026, Comic Con Cape Town with Capitec runs from 30 April to 3 May. Comic Con Africa with Capitec takes place from 24 to 27 September.

Every year fans stream through the doors to engage in a festival that supports local artists and creators. The experience encourages participation, friendship and community.

The partnership introduces new benefits for fans

The Capitec Super Fan Pass and a 20 percent ticket discount for Capitec clients are part of the first offerings.

A Capitec Super Fan receives two general access tickets for a chosen day, a parking pass, priority lane access, early access onto the show floor and 50 percent off a photo op with a confirmed celebrity.

Comic Con with Capitec prepares exclusive on-floor experiences

The partnership will deliver moments that fans will remember, along with collaborations with exhibitors offering special deals. This is a “watch this space” development, and fans are encouraged to follow Comic Con’s social media and Capitec’s Rewards portal for updates.
