The tournament featured 40 men’s and 40 women’s teams competing fiercely for top honours. Attendees were treated to thrilling matches and had the chance to see some of the world’s rarest luxury cars, courtesy of the event’s headline sponsor, FuturExotics Lifestyle Emporium, owned by renowned investor and entrepreneur Zunaid Moti. Moti, along with celebrities like Ebraheem from Dubai Bling, Ashraf Garda, and Audrey Garda, added star power to the event by participating in the games.
FuturExotics, a premier luxury emporium specializing in high-end cars, boats, aircraft, jewellery, and luxury goods, showcased an impressive lineup of vehicles. The display included the Porsche GT2 RS, Ferrari 458 Speciale, McLaren 765 LT, Rolls-Royce Spectre, and the exceptionally rare Mercedes Benz AMG G63 6×6 Brabus edition, valued at approximately R25 million.
Zunaid Moti commented, “This was a fun-filled and jam-packed day that truly brought the community together. It was wonderful to see families and friends enjoying the event, taking selfies with the luxury vehicles, and cheering on the players.”
The tournament also highlighted some of South Africa’s top padel talent. Competitors from across the country, including Cape Town, vied for the opportunity to qualify for an international tournament in Botswana later this year. Prizes included cash awards, rackets, padel bags, and jewellery.
The event provided a family-friendly atmosphere with a variety of food stalls, ensuring there was something for everyone. The combination of top-tier sportsmanship, luxury exhibits, and community engagement made the FuturExotics Padel Championship a
standout success and a benchmark for all padel tournaments. It was a memorable weekend outing for sports enthusiasts and families alike.
