Crème of Nature has announced an official partnership with the 2026 edition of the MXS Kulture Festival, bringing together two influential African brands in a celebration of heritage, culture and creative expression through fashion, music and beauty.
The haircare brand will serve as the Official Hair Partner for the fourth annual MXS Kulture Festival, taking place on 21 March 2026 at Toadbury Hall. The collaboration highlights the brand’s “Rooted in Radiance” philosophy, celebrating textured hair as a powerful form of identity and self-expression.
The partnership aligns with the creative vision of MAXHOSA AFRICA, founded by designer Laduma Ngxokolo. This year’s MAXHOSA winter collection will debut internationally at Paris Fashion Week on 7 March 2026 before returning to South Africa for a showcase at the MXS Kulture Festival on Human Rights Day.

“We are incredibly proud to partner with MAXHOSA AFRICA for the 2026 MXS Kulture Festival,” says Zandi Zinganto, Brand Manager of Creme of Nature. “This partnership celebrates heritage, authenticity and culture. Just as MAXHOSA tells powerful stories through design, we tell stories through texture. Hair is creative expression on bold display.”
Where heritage meets high fashion
At the festival runway, Creme of Nature will design the hair looks for each model according to Ngxokolo’s creative direction. The styling will complement the collection with sculptural braids, natural textures and bold hairstyles that echo the themes of African heritage woven through the garments.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to honouring African identity through both fashion and beauty.
Immersive beauty experiences
Beyond the runway, the brand will host an interactive Pop-Up Salon Studio activation where festival guests can enjoy hairstyling sessions and quick treatments. The experience will include a lounge space, curated haircare products and interactive moments with brand ambassador Nomzamo Mbatha.
Mbatha will also step in as the festival’s official co-host, strengthening the collaboration’s focus on celebrating women who champion African culture and creativity.

Music and cultural celebration
The MXS Kulture Festival has become a major platform celebrating African fashion, music and art. This year’s performance line-up includes DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, DJ Tira, Tracy, Thohatsi, K MAT and Fistaz Mixwell, with additional artists still to be announced.
The collaboration between Creme of Nature and MAXHOSA AFRICA signals more than a brand partnership. It represents a shared commitment to celebrating African creativity, heritage and cultural storytelling on both global and local stages.
