Chad and Savanah Saaiman welcome twin daughters

Cape Town singer-songwriter and radio personality Chad Saaiman and his wife, Savanah, have welcomed twin girls.

The couple shared photos of their newborn daughters and wrote:

“8:06am Stevie Saaiman, 8:09am Sunny Saaiman. What a beautiful morning and moment it was, from the moment we entered the theatre to when we connected our Bluetooth speaker to our curated playlist; the energy and spirit in the room were special. There was so much joy that it was almost tangible; the beauty of new life, experienced firsthand as God had intended for us. The girls are healthy, and we are blessed. A big shout-out to every member of the village, and special mention to our incredible ObGyn, @dr_caylin_obgyn, and her team. Welcome to the world, girls.”

Chad and Savanah married in April 2024. They announced their pregnancy on their first wedding anniversary with a creative Instagram post featuring a mock newspaper front page reading “Saaiman twins coming Spring 2025”, alongside an ultrasound image.

“Stevie is named after one of our favourite artists, Stevie Wonder. Sunny was Savanah’s grandad’s nickname, and my dad called my mom “Sunna” when we were kids. (Her name is Sandy), Chad said.

Chad, who has a teenage daughter from a previous relationship, told Inbound SA:

“We are so excited to have welcomed the twins into our world. The girls are healthy, and we are good.”

Stevie and Sunny were born via C-section on 30 October.
