Table Mountain Cableway reopens after annual maintenance.

After a short break for its annual maintenance (28 July – 3 August), Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company (TMACC)is officially open again (from Monday, 4 August 2025). Freshly serviced and ready to roll, the Cableway is welcoming visitors to experience the magic of one of the New7Wonders of Nature.

“Our annual shutdown allows us to carry out essential upgrades and make sure the Cableway runs at the highest possible standards,” said TMACC’s Executive Director, Selma Hercules.

“We’re delighted to welcome visitors to the mountain!”

TMACC is also proud to highlight two exciting nominations:

• Book online: Save when you buy tickets online – online tickets are valid for 7 days, extendable if you need to reschedule, and refundable in case of bad weather.
• Park & Ride: We recommend that you park at the Lower Tafelberg Road parking area and use the free shuttle service to travel to the Lower Station.

• Skip the Queue: Upgrade to a Fast Track ticket and spend more time at the top instead of in line.
