LONG WEEKEND VIBES, BUT THE WEATHER IS CHILLY

797

This isn’t the type of weather we were anticipating for the September long weekend in Cape Town. Normally, the sun is out and shining, people ready to tingle and mingle in spring colours, but this spring season is very different this year.

Saturday

This is the day people love going all out with their friends and families, but it’s going to be a day with thunder showers, at 15 degrees during the day. Embrace the chill and make sure you come up with cozy things to do and find cozy meals.

Sunday

Mother nature still says, another cold rainy day. This day is usually sunny, and so filling, with people setting up for the actual heritage day. Before you dive headfirst into your sunny plans, take note of this. Be prepared and stay warm.

Monday

We don’t know how that will go since there are showers of rain this year. The key to enjoying your long weekend is proper attire. Don’t forget to stock up warm clothes wherever you are headed. One extra jacket in the car boot to save yourself from feeling cold.

Let layering be your best friend this weekend, and try to find indoor activities to stay warm. Happy long weekend.
