According to Vogue, her last attendance was in 2016 for the Manus x Machina theme, where she wore a striking Givenchy Haute Couture gown. Her return guarantees major media attention. The Vision Behind the Theme: Costume Art

The theme was curated by Andrew Bolton, head curator of the Anna Wintour Costume Centre at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Bolton’s exhibitions have shaped global fashion conversations. His work includes Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, the 2017 Rei Kawakubo retrospective, and Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, one of the museum’s most-visited exhibitions.
