Dru Hill and Silk are coming to Pretoria for We Love R&B concert

R&B fans, get ready: Dru Hill and Silk are heading to Pretoria for a night packed with some of their biggest hits.

The multi-platinum-selling groups will perform at the SunBet Arena at Time Square, Menlyn, on Sunday, 22 May 2027, as part of the first-ever We Love R&B Concert Experience.

And there’s another surprise coming.

Organisers have confirmed that another international artist will be added to the line-up, with the name still being kept under wraps.

Dru Hill bringing their R&B classics to Pretoria

Known for their distinctive harmonies and emotive performances, Dru Hill will bring a catalogue of R&B favourites to the Pretoria stage.

Fans can expect songs including In My Bed, Never Make a Promise, How Deep Is Your Love, Beauty and These Are the Times.

The group’s music has remained popular with R&B listeners across generations, making their appearance one of the major drawcards for the inaugural concert.

Silk joins the We Love R&B line-up

Silk will add their signature smooth vocal arrangements to the evening.

The acclaimed quartet is expected to perform favourites including Freak Me, If You and Meeting in My Bedroom.

Together, Dru Hill and Silk will form the foundation of a concert built around classic R&B, nostalgia and the songs that have remained favourites with fans over the years.

Another international artist is still to be announced

Remoakantse Holdings, which is organising the concert, says the full line-up has not yet been revealed.

“We are extremely excited about what we are putting together for Pretoria. Dru Hill and Silk are incredible, multi-platinum-selling acts with catalogues that have stood the test of time, and we know their music has a very special place in the hearts of South African R&B fans,” says Remoakantse Holdings managing director Thabiso Mogashwa.

“But this is only the beginning. There is another very special announcement still to come, and we are looking forward to sharing that with audiences soon. We have deliberately kept this one under wraps because we want the announcement to be as exciting for the fans as it has been for us putting it together.”

The additional international name will join Dru Hill and Silk for what organisers are positioning as a celebration of the music, memories and voices that have shaped generations of R&B fans.
