Orlando Pirates could have another major transfer decision to make before the window closes, with Oswin Appollis reportedly the subject of an offer from Europe.

The Bafana Bafana winger has become one of the Buccaneers’ most valuable players following an impressive year, but growing overseas interest is now testing Pirates’ resolve.

According to The Citizen, an unnamed European club has tabled an offer for Appollis, with a source suggesting the interested team could be from France.

Appollis’ stock continues to rise

Appollis joined Pirates from Polokwane City ahead of the 2025/26 season and quickly made his mark.

He played a key role in a successful campaign that saw the Buccaneers win the Betway Premiership, MTN8 and Carling Knockout Cup.

His performances also earned him the league’s Midfielder of the Season award.

Appollis then represented South Africa at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where Bafana Bafana made history by reaching the knockout stages.

His performances have reportedly attracted interest from FC Porto, OGC Nice and Al Ahly.
