Moët & Chandon brings festive luxury to South Africa

Moët & Chandon is lighting up the holiday season with a new immersive festive pop-up at Hyde Park Corner in Johannesburg. The brand has also released two limited-edition bottles for summer. The Brut Impérial arrives in bold red and the Rosé Impérial arrives in soft pink. Both celebrate connection, joy and the Maison’s long tradition of French celebration.

A season of reflection and celebration

For almost three centuries, Moët & Chandon has shaped the art of celebration. Each new release brings a mix of heritage and reinvention. This year, Friends of the House share their most significant moments and how they plan to toast the year ahead.

International host and actress Zozi Tunzi marks a season of change. She stepped into her first significant acting role and recorded new music set for release in 2026. She calls 2026 the start of her “second act”.

Maps Maponyane’s year focused on building his dream home, growing creative projects and living with purpose. He calls this progress his “ultimate Moët moment”.

Actress and filmmaker Nambitha Ben-Mazwi sees the festive season as a chance to reflect on answered prayers. She entered the European cinema scene and celebrated 10 years in the arts.

Presenter and musician Zulu Mkhathini says this year was about connection. He grew his company, explored new creative work and prepared to return to music in 2026. He says Moët & Chandon represents excellence across culture, entertainment and lifestyle.

Limited-edition bottles for the festive season

Moët & Chandon’s new holiday editions focus on colour, emotion and French savoir-fête. Red symbolises joy and shared moments. In South Africa, the colour takes on a warm summer energy across rooftop gatherings, beach celebrations and holiday parties. The pink edition adds a softer touch for festive tables and outdoor events.

Step inside the Moët & Chandon festive pop-up

From 14 November to 7 December, visitors can step into the Moët & Chandon Festive Pop-Up at Hyde Park Corner. The space offers champagne tastings, photo moments and bottle personalisation. Guests can strike a pose at the Moët & Chandon mirror and leave with a Polaroid keepsake. The experience blends French elegance with the ease of South African summer.

Zozi Tunzi says a memorable celebration brings music, stories and the people who matter. She adds that Moët & Chandon elevates these moments and has been part of her most important milestones.

Maps Maponyane sets the tone for the season. He focuses on connection, shared stories and what he calls “the luxury of being present”.

A celebration of legacy and future moments

Moët & Chandon’s festive campaign blends tradition with modern expression. The limited-edition bottles and festive pop-up invite guests to honour the year behind them while welcoming new beginnings.

The pop-up offers a space to celebrate with intention, reflect on the year and share moments that will be remembered long after the season ends.
